Founder and head coach of the school. His journey with sports began in the 3rd grade of elementary school, but it wasn’t until the 6th grade that he started training martial arts. Initially, it was judo, Kyokushin karate, several years of aikido, and Northern style Kung-Fu Wu-Shu. Simultaneously, he was an athlete for Cracovia in the mountain biking section. Later came fencing, and it is his passion to this day. After University, he faced the tough choice of what should become a hobby and what a way of life — fencing or mathematics. The balance tipped in favor of fighting. He has been a student of many outstanding coaches in both fencing and Eastern martial arts. He was taught by A. Drewniak, D. Zięba, M. Adamowicz, W. Rutkowski, and finally under Professor Z. Czajkowski (with whom he completed the fencing instructor course). In 1998, he began forming his own group and then a school.

Grzegorz Czarny
Born: February 14, 1984
In SFA since: 2003
Favorite weapons: Rapier, épée, sabre
City: Krakow
At SFA, he serves as a coach responsible for the Krakow branch. In his youth, he practiced Oyama karate for 5 years and has been involved in mountain biking for many years. His excellent organizational skills, fighting spirit, and common sense make him the person who keeps SFA from descending into chaos. For some reason, he is called “Satan.” He speaks at least 17 languages. In reality, it’s five, but no one knows how he manages it with so many training sessions each week.
Dominika Skoczeń
Born: January 5, 1995
In SFA since: 2012
Favorite weapon: Épée
City: Krakow
Before she started practicing fencing, she tormented people with her violin. Currently, she draws fencing comics (with varying quality depending on who you ask), bakes cookies, and takes photos that, for some unknown reason, usually feature some kind of weapon. She runs a YouTube channel called “Czerw Fantastyczny.”
Krystian Pilch
Born: June 22, 1992
In SFA since: 2014
Favorite weapon: Footwork
City: Orawka
On a daily basis, he battles on the front lines of national education, teaching English. In his free time, he writes various works and plays string instruments. Following the battle strategy that Obi-Wan adopted on Mustafar, he founded his fencing division in the mountainous region of Orawa, gaining a literal “high ground” advantage over other SFA branches. There, he teaches his highlander comrades the use of the épée, sabre, and rapier with a dagger, and definitely, with absolute certainty, does not intend to introduce the ciupaga (a traditional mountain axe).
Marcin Sośniak
Born: April 21, 1997
In SFA since: 2016
Favorite weapons: Épée and rapier
City: Krakow
By day, an ordinary, unassuming IT specialist. By night, he runs around Krakow with a sab… I mean, an épée, challenging people to duels in dark alleys. Legends say no one has ever accepted his challenge. Besides fencing and work, he spends his time recording videos, carrying lights, and playing computer games.

Instructor at SFA Kraków. Kind and nurturing with children, a true “beast” when facing opponents larger than herself. Actively participates in torturing people during warm-ups and exercises building strength. She has been interested in sports since childhood, starting with judo, then skiing, volleyball, gymnastics, soccer… and so on. During her studies, she was a judo athlete at the AZS Politechnika Krakowska. She is interested in architecture, interior design, and photography, as well as mountain running (the more peaks in one day, the better), cycling, rollerblading, and kayaking. Mountains hold a very important place among her passions; she completed the Beskid Guides Course and loves both small and big travels.

She leads the branch in Tczew and trains in Pruszcz Gdański. Although initially she was supposed to hold a paintbrush in her hand, she chose the sword instead. She really likes 19th-century art and fashion. She is engaged in painting and fashion. She trained volleyball and figure skating, being rather a pacifistic soul until she encountered the Aramis Fencing School on her way. When she’s done beating people in training, she likes to sit with tea under a blanket and watch romantic comedies.

He is interested in history, fantasy, European weapons, and dancing on the mounds of his enemies. When not fighting or checking tests, he probably organizes lectures on arms studies (a well-known specialist in this field).

Head coach in Poznań. He began his first fencing steps in the Krakow branch, under the wings of our instructors Basia and Grzegorz, many years ago. Fate eventually brought him to the capital of Wielkopolska, where he professionally deals with engineering and robotics. Occasionally and quite voluntarily, he carries the “muzzle of education,” explaining mathematical and physical concepts to children as part of cooperation with the Angels of Knowledge association in Poznań, as he sees the education level quite bleak.
